Applemint is a mint that can compete with quack grass! It is a perennial and can survive cold winters down to (–25) degrees F.
I have it planted around some of my apple trees as a ground cover. It comes back each year and is forming a ground cover where I planted it.
It attracts bees and other beneficial insects.
Applemint can be used to make a tea.
